We engage and deliver our SaaS-based product to a global clientele of luxury hotel chains spread across geographies like USA, Middle East, Europe, SE Asia & India. Our services are delivered across multiple channels like mobile, web app, TV, Kiosks and enables contactless check-in, hyper-personalization and intelligent automation for both the hotels and their guests.
Role
As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security, scalability, and efficiency of our cloud- based infrastructure while also contributing to our DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in cloud technologies, security protocols, and hands-on experience with DevOps tools.
Responsibilities:
Cloud Security :
- Design, implement, and maintain security measures to safeguard our cloud infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective
- actions.
DevOps:
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating the deployment and testing of applications.
- Work closely with development teams to streamline the development and release processes.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with operations and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the
- development, test, and production environments.
Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like
- Kubernetes.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical
- solutions.
- Work closely with the IT security team to align cloud security measures with organizational policies
- and standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on security and DevOps.
- Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.• In-depth knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in a
- cloud environment.
- Proficient with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and
- version control.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automaton.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
- Certification such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS
- Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus.
