Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, with a strong focus on web applications and API testing. This role involves designing and executing comprehensive test cases, identifying and tracking defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. The candidate should be proficient in tools like Postman and Jira, and possess excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and
specifications. - Perform thorough manual testing of web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and responsiveness
across browsers and devices. - Conduct API testing using Postman.
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product team, and other QA team members to understand requirements
and provide feedback. - Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs from the QA perspective.
- Support regression testing and ensure existing functionality is not broken by new changes.
- Help maintain and improve QA processes, documentation, and standards.
Must-Haves
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
- Solid experience in Web Application Testing (functional, UI/UX, cross-browser).
- Good understanding and practical experience with API testing.
- Proficiency with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
